Introduced in 2002/2003 at a cost of $4,000 when the cheapest CMTS was over $22,000, this product line provided a financially viable option for many small MSO’s and MDU operators to provide Internet over cable. This enabled an additional revenue option for these operators.
With a few thousand of these units installed over the last 14 years and new technologies available, we regret to inform that this product has reached its end of life. If you own any of these products, please contact us for a discounted option to upgrade to our D3 CMTS.
